We only spent one night but wished we had more time in this park and want to go back. The Mash Fork campground host was very nice and helpful, and suggested a short walk to the waterfall. Being late October we didn't make reservations and he marked which sites were available and let us choose which one we wanted. The sites are pretty level, and most all if not all of them would have accommodated our 36' 5th wheel. They save the 3 pull-through sites for RVs that pull in after dark. The park has miles of hiking trails, fishing, and a small playground. As others have said, it's only a mile from I-77 but you feel like you're miles away. We definitely want to go back!

This is a very beautiful and nice state park. Since it was late October there were very few other campers so it was very quiet. The sites were mostly level, although some of them were too small for our 36' 5th wheel. We didn't use the restrooms but did look at them and they seemed to be clean. In addition to the $17.34 a night there is a $5.00 park entrance fee. We wished we had more time to spend there. The only negative thing we found were ladybugs that showed up on the second night, camped out on our slides and invaded the trailer when we closed up. We were still trying to get rid of them six days later.

There are 10 electric sites; 3 walk-in and 7 reservable. The walk-in sites are shaded, and the reservable sites are in a grassy area. We camped in late October and there were only two other trailers when we got here. We chose not to park under the trees because of all the falling leaves and not wanting to have to clean them off before we left. We were in a 36' 5th wheel. We accidently came in the wrong way because leaves were covering the road, but it's probably a good thing because there is a tree that looked like the branches were hanging down close enough to hit the trailer. The dump station we didn't use because we couldn't maneuver next to the restroom. It looked like someone else had already taken off the corner of the restroom trying to use the dump station. The campground map showed a water spigot behind site #8, but it's actually behind site #10. We tried to hike down to the gorge, but the map that's on the brochure isn't very good, and there are no signs on the trails to point you in the right direction. We would not go back to this park.
